We Auditioned for Dragons’ Den… Here’s What Really Happened

It finally happened. Dragons’ Den auditions are officially behind us… and we’re still processing the day.

Before we get into it, we need to say this. The support lately has been unreal. From those who have been cheering us on since day one, to all the new faces joining us daily, we see you. We appreciate you. And we feel your energy every step of the way.

And we know what everyone’s asking right now…
“So, what happens next?”

We’ll get there. But first, let’s talk about the day.

Jaclyn was an absolute force. She boarded a flight early that morning from Florida, landed in Detroit at 9:45, and somehow still made it to Western’s campus in London for 1:00. With minutes to spare, she made it. Meanwhile, I was circling campus for 45 minutes trying to find parking like a lost soul.

Once I finally found a spot, I was out in the pouring rain trying to follow a little green dot on my phone to find Gazzy somewhere in the parking lot. We eventually found each other, slightly soaked but laughing, and made our way up to the building together.

After running through the rain and climbing what felt like endless flights of stairs, I walked in and immediately went straight into Jaclyn’s arms for a big hug. It had been a tough week for both of us. Jaclyn was juggling everything while technically on vacation, and I was back home managing all the day-to-day, packing and shipping orders, labeling, and preparing for a big event coming up in May. It was a lot on both sides, on top of memorizing a pitch.

We looked at each other and said, “Okay… should we actually practice this thing together?” And we did. A few bloopers later, we were ready. Nervous, scared, excited… all of it.

Then came the waiting.

We didn’t pitch until around 4:15, so we had hours to rehearse, laugh, and refine everything with Gazzy, who is truly a force. She’s been such a huge part of our journey over the past seven months, and we’re so grateful for everything she’s poured into us.

While we waited, we met some incredible people. So many stories, so much passion, so many big ideas. There’s something special about being in a room full of people all chasing something bigger. You could feel it.

And then… it was time.

In our tutus, we walked in to pitch the producers.

Nervous doesn’t even begin to cover it, but we got up there, delivered our pitch, and didn’t miss a beat. Then came about 30 minutes of questions about our product and about us. And honestly, that’s where we thrive. Talking about something we love, something we’ve built, something we know inside and out.

At one point, the producer even asked if he could take product with him. Of course, we said yes.

And that’s where we have to leave it… for now.

What we can say is this. We walked out of that room feeling proud, accomplished, and confident. No matter what happens next, that moment meant everything to us.

Now we wait.

If we get the call to move forward, there will be things we can’t share right away… but you know we’ll keep you as close to the journey as we can.

And if there’s one thing you should know, it’s this. Dragons’ Den is just one piece of what we’re building. Behind the scenes, we’ve got a lot in motion, and some really exciting things are coming your way.

So if you’ve been following along, stick with us.
If you’re new here, welcome… you picked a pretty exciting time to join.

And tell us this…
Do you think we’ll get the call?
