Toronto Market Week: The Finale (Part 4)
WOW. Just… wow.
The last two days of Toronto Market Week were absolutely unforgettable.
It started with a little social media magic — Jillian Harris posted us to her story: “These girls are sooo sweet”. Immediately, our Instagram blew up! Phones were buzzing nonstop. Fellow exhibitors were drawn over by the commotion. Wholesale clients were tracking us down, eager to see what all the LOXX buzz was about. Some even went to the wrong gift show looking for us… only to finally find us at booth 1504.
And then the magic happened: everyone wanted LOXX. Smelling it. Falling in love. Buying wholesale. Buying cash-and-carry (even though we had sent most of it home days earlier — Murphy’s law strikes again!). But somehow… we made it all happen.
Orders were flying. Connections were being made. People were raving about our products. Fellow vendors came over, saying they’d been hearing a buzz in the halls, strangers following the scent straight to our booth. We were overwhelmed — but in the best way possible.
The response was bigger than we could have imagined. Not just for our products, but for us as a brand — the fun, chaotic, passionate side of Jaclyn + Amanda. The dreams, the hard work, the sheer energy we put into LOXX. We were even coined “the talk of the show” by a handful of clients. PINCH US.
From being small-town known to now across Canada, we felt the weight of every ounce of effort pay off. It was humbling. It was exciting. And it was everything we had hoped for.
Of course, not everything was glamorous. After a long, whirlwind day on Tuesday, we had to disassemble the entire booth — shelves, signage, product — all while thousands of other exhibitors tried to do the same.
We persevered. We fought the cold, the snow, the chaos — and jam-packed the Bronco again. Huge thank yous to our incredible friends and family. Another friend, Kim, who was shopping the show, drove to help take extra stock home so we didn’t have to navigate even more chaos. We literally couldn’t have done it without these amazing humans.
Finally loaded, we hit the road.
But wait… no washer fluid. No gas stations in sight. Cue the nervous prayers. Thankfully, we found a gas station — but they were sold out of washer fluid. Cue the second mini panic. Luckily, just down the road, we found some. Crisis averted.
Rolling back home around 8 PM, we were tired, sore, but absolutely overjoyed.
Toronto Market Week had been a whirlwind of snow, laughter, chaos, orders, dreams, and unforgettable moments — and we were ready to process all the orders and continue growing LOXX.
We can’t wait to see our products on shelves across Canada, and we’re beyond excited for the new relationships and partnerships we’ve built.
And guess what? We’re already planning our next trade show.
Bring it on. 💛
